TREE-mendous Turnout!!!

Our wonderful Group!

50 People! That's right 50 people turned up to help collect litter and leaves on Saturday 7th Jan. It was amazing to see so many people from our community, school and local area! 31 adults and 19 children managed to fill 25 hippo sacks full of leaves in addition to numerous black bin liners of rubbish and recycling!

A massive thank you to everyone that attended and helped! The park is looking so much better and seeing people using it and enjoying the play equipment is just the best! Your hard work is making Greenfield Gardens a safer, cleaner and more enjoyable place for everyone.

There were also NO NEEDLES found this time which is simply amazing!!!!

We also need to thank Dudley Council for providing litter picking tools, rakes, shovels and kids' packs

as well as the council workers who have also been in the park pruning and working hard!

Mr Butler, site manager from Greenfield Primary School, for giving us his time and energy on his days off!

Without everyone working together, giving their time, effort and commitment this wouldn't be possible.

With the leaves cleared the grass will be green again in Greenfield Gardens !

Again many thanks, it was lovely to meet so many people, make new friends and see old ones too!

REMEMBER TO COME ALONG IF YOU CAN TO THE NEXT MEETING , held at Greenfield Primary School on Thursday 19th Jan at 7pm . Everyone is welcome!!!! We hope to see you there!!
