This week has seen the council finish clearing the leaves and pruning the shrubs in the park which is amazing, It was also due to the enormous effort of the residents of the old quarter, pupils and Mr Butler from Greenfield School and the wider community that also came to help as on the last leaf and litter sweep and filled over 25 hippo sacks full of leaves!!! WELL DONE PEOPLE !!!!
Please have a look at the slideshow below to see how the park has changed in the last couple of months.
It is fantastic to see snowdrops and bulbs coming through already, as well as children playing and people enjoying the park.
Our next meeting is 7pm Thursday 19th January at Greenfield School, Hill St.
Please come along if you can, you will be more than welcome.
