A prickly problem!

Sunday 10th September, saw the friends group remove some rather prickly overgrown plants that had sprung up over the summer months and epicormic growth from the tree stumps left after the trees were removed earlier this year . The group tackled the corner and removed a lot of dead green waste, whilst leaving nesting material for the wildlife within Greenfield Gardens. We hope to see this wild area spring back to life next year as it provided us a wonderful show of colours and plants this summer!

We cannot thank the Friends of Greenfield Gardens enough for the hard work it took to fill the 5 hippo sacks and to the Green Care Team at Dudley Council who provides the tools and collects the waste for support and help they give us as well.
